Alternative Baking Recipes
Although I am not Vegan or require a strict Gluten-Free diet, I am fascinated by the availability of alternative ingredients and the creativity that comes with taking a traditional recipe and making it fit for anyone with a specific diet.
My favourite recipe to date is the Banana Caramel Vegan Donut. To take three components of a bake (enriched dough, custard and caramel)- all of which contain significant amounts of dairy products and make it vegan is just awesome. My father- in-law who is incredibly fussy about food ABSOLUTELY LOVED THEM!
